About Hambledons

Hambledons was started by John Westron when trying to find some heavy duty plant frames for a new garden design. With a very limited market John decided to build what was needed and Hambledons was born.

Hambledons is now a proud family run business, based in Southern Hampshire, which hand make a range of plants frames and supports.

John Westron

John was born and raised on a farm in Southern Hampshire which is where his passion for working outside with all aspects of nature began.

John studied agricultural mechanics at Sparsholt College for two years after leaving school which is where he gained experience in welding and metalcraft.

After completing his studies, John started a garden maintenance business which now, with over 20 years experience, has developed into an established landscaping business working in all aspects of horticulture from maintenance to design.

He has been able to bring his engineering knowledge to Hambledons to help develop the range of products.

William has now completed his studies at Sparsholt College to gain RHS qualifications in horticulture, which has given him a unique skill set for designing and making garden frames.
